Breightmet is now the new home of a unique community arts studio, BreightmetQuilting Studios. Our goal is to establish a creative space for quilters and textile artist to explore their interests and build self confidence. Our studio and machine are not just for making quilts, it also has a wide range of artistic and creative applications such as free motion embroidery, printmaking and contemporary textile art techniques. We run a monthly quilt club the first Friday of the month. We also run additional grant funded projects like #ThePeoplesQuilt.
