Emmeline Illustration

Award-winning freelance illustrator creating books & advertising

I am an award-winning illustrator creating books, advertising, graphic novels and editorial illustration from a cosy studio in North West England.

I graduated from University College Falmouth with a BA (Hons) Illustration degree in 2010, and dived straight in to freelance illustration. Since then I have worked with a broad range of clients, exhibited internationally and I’ve built up a strong reputation for my illustration work focused on colour, character and suggested narrative.

I have illustrated six published picture books to date; I’ve worked with the likes of Egmont Publishing to illustrate the cover for their new edition of Peter Pan; and my work has been featured in The Guardian, and The Scotsman, and stocked in The V&A, Waterstones and Selfridges. I’ve been nominated for and won a number of awards for both my illustration and for my creative industries blog! Most recently I was awarded IPSE-QA’a Freelancer of the Year award 2016.

Clients include Tesco Living Magazine, Egmont Publishing, Thought Bubble Comics Festival, Cargo Publishing and Aidan Moffat.
