Anthony Padgett – Jazz Swing Dance
Artist Writer Dancer - SculptorAnthony D Padgett is an award winning sculptor researching an MPhil in Art and Religion and has an MA in Contemporary Art and Performance.
He has worked in sculpture, painting, performance, dance, film and conservation for over 30 years.
His public artworks are sited internationally and held in museum, gallery and library collections.
He worked restoring historic buildings with the British School of Archaeology in Jerusalem and with Israeli and Palestinian governments.
His award winning computer manufactured sculpture is sited in Leighton Hall, Carnforth.
His internationally sited sculptures include representations of Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Kurt Schwitters.
He is Lancashire Representative of the Artists Union England and campaigns for workers’ rights (including his 2005-7 Tribunal case against Tate Galleries).
