A Freelance Creative Consultant & Producer, with fingers and toes in many pies & I wouldn’t have it any other way…

I have worked for the last 16 years within the Creative Industries sector in the Northwest, my spiritual home (even though i’m one of those Southerners really).

My work has included managing arts organisations, commissioning and curating arts programmes, producing arts projects, festivals and design events, consulting on the development of creative business incubation spaces, lecturing on creative entrepreneurship across the country and project managing a wide range of European and Government funded creative & digital media enterprise programmes.

I am a Clore cultural fellow, SFEDI accredited business advisor and Relational Dynamics accredited coach, specialising in work with creative people and start ups, and I am a NESTA recommended consultant for the delivery of training relating to their ‘Creative Enterprise Toolkit’.

I am a passionate advocate of creativity to drive change within place, so I chair Preston Creative Partnership, sit on the Arts Lancashire executive, am the Lancashire lead for What Next? and I am a local school governor where I push hard to include creativity and arts across the curriculum to ensure all children get access to a rich and diverse cultural education.
