Branch is a senior-led AI and custom software development company based in Chorley, Lancashire. We design, build and look after business-critical software for organisations across the UK, including internal systems, customer portals, booking platforms and AI products. Every project is led by founder Liam Mclaney, with 17 years of hands-on development experience.

We help when spreadsheets and disconnected tools can no longer support the business, an existing platform needs improving, or a prototype needs the engineering to support real customers. Our services include bespoke software development, AI development and consultancy, MVP development, software integrations, WordPress development, ongoing maintenance and fractional CTO support. You work directly with the people making the technical decisions and building the software.

We have particular experience with visitor attractions, museums, travel and hospitality. Our work includes supporting the websites and booking journeys for Eureka! The National Children’s Museum, building Anderson Education’s exhibition registration and check-in platform, and providing ongoing development for Stay in a Pub. We also built and run Holp.ai, a customer service AI product.

Before recommending a build, we work out whether an existing product or a small integration would solve the problem. When bespoke development is the right route, we plan for security, accessibility, maintainability and support after launch, with the code, repositories and documentation belonging to the client.
