My works is predominately painted using the acrylic medium on stretched canvas
I do love the flexibility of the acrylic medium, it reflects my attitude and desire of getting paint on the canvas fast.Then the work begins.
I use whatever is at hand to give the direction and technique whether it is dry brush strokes or, great watery washes that allow massive amounts of blending colour. I have a particular love of painting interesting landscapes and seascapes that have a rawness and emotion that reflect the natural world. I have also taken on commission work for hospitals, private and corporate clients. I love the collaboration between the clients and myself to produce the artwork that really resonates and brings great joy.
