Mixed media artist, expressing the moods of the wild coastal landscape using bold brushstrokes and palette knife mark making to create semi-abstract textured paintings. Originally from Poland, Veronica now lives in Blackpool, a seaside town on the Irish Sea coast of England which is often reflected in her work. The shifting light from the constantly changing skies, the crashing waves and the gloomy clouds is the main source of inspiration for Veronica. Veronica’s artistic practice transcends a combination of traditional and digital forms of work, creating surprising results. Different mediums allow Veronica to explore her own ways of expressing herself. Veronica’s work evokes different moods by depicting the sea and the sky as separate emotions. The light and dark colours are highly apparent in her work to illustrate the mood changes.
