Dragonfly International Film Festival

Dragonfly International Film Festival is a film competition celebrating diverse and creative filmmaking from around the globe, providing an opportunity for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their work to an engaged and diverse audience in the heart of Lancashire, UK.

Dragonfly International Film Festival is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all filmmakers, by awarding categories specifically for Lancashire Filmmakers, Women Filmmakers and Minority Group Filmmakers, we aim to celebrate the diverse talents of those who are sadly still underrepresented in the film industry.

Additionally, by awarding prizes for individual cast and crew members, we aim to recognise and celebrate the outstanding talents of the individuals who worked on your film.

​Our mission is to showcase a range of notable short films, by screening them to an engaged and diverse audience of filmmakers and the general public, for whom independent film may not be readily accessible.

Our Red Carpet Screening and Awards Presentation Evening will take place on 7th March 2026 in at The New Continental, Preston, Lancashire UK. Tickets will be made available on or before 1st February 2026 via Eventbrite.
