Irreverent Artistry

At Irreverent Artistry we work to the principle that all people are born creative, and the only thing that separates artists and creators from other people is that some use their creativity, whilst others don’t.

We foster working intuitively, freely and focus on the processes of creating rather than the end results.  Sometimes that means that our outcomes are “ugly” and “unattractive” and sometimes they are “pretty” and yet without “substance”.  We ignore those assessments and focus instead on the nature of expression and how we express ourselves.

Irreverent Artistry is led by working artist Laura Edwards.  Laura works in mixed media, digital media, acrylics and watercolours along with assemblage projects- including self led explorations and commissions.  The Irreverent Artistry Studio can be open at any time for any creative pursuit and presently we are taking commissions – please get in touch if you have questions.
