Creative Learning

as creatives is one of the leading providers of creative learning to schools across the UK and beyond. Each year we work with thousands of children and young people and teachers in schools both Nationally and Internationally.

We specialise in developing creative learning programmes and creative workshops for schools which are firmly linked to the curriculum and that make learning extraordinary. Our School workshops and programmes are suitable for EYFS – KS4 and we also work with HE, FE and other educational providers across the UK and beyond. We cover all the main curriculum and our Creative Maths, Science and Literacy programmes are particularly popular – including our Shakespeare and Poetry workshops!

  1. Excellent

We had Jo in our school leading a whole school assembly, poetry workshops for 4 different year groups and staff CPD after school. The children were completly engaged in what she delievered and produced incredible, creative work in 90 minute workshops. The CPD was accessible and inspiring and every staff member left feeling excited to deliever it in their own classrooms. Excellent.

  2. 2 day workshop at our primary school

We had a wonderful 2day workshop all about Shakespeare’s plays. All of the children had a wonderful time and all of the teachers said it was a great way for the children to express themselves and interact with the characers from his plays. Excellent!

  3. Jo Stokes brings Shakepeare's plays to life

We have had a visit from Jo Stokes from AS Creatives for the past two years in order to celebrate World book Day in our secondary school. Jo caters for all age groups and truly does not disappoint. The workshops she delivers are fantastic and bring Shakespeare to life for the children in our school. Jo is Charismatic, funny and builds an instant rapport with the children. She commands the attention of the group and manages to leave the students with a lasting impression of Shakespeare’s plays that they can really understand.

  4. Value for money which suited our needs perfectly.

What a brilliant way to kick start our work on The Tempest! Jo delivered a play-in-a-day which was both captivating to watch and be part of. She was professional and we were able to devise a timetable that best suited our school and our needs. I was particularly impressed with the activities that Jo used because they are easily adaptable to other areas of the curriculum so what started out as an exciting opportunity for the students ended up as being excellent CPD for staff. The children remembered so much for their time with Jo and many now say that Shakespeare is their favourite author!
