Freya Magenta

Freya Magenta is a Lancashire based Fine Artist. She has been refining her craft, specialising in acrylic painting, exploring the strange and macabre through a vivid palette to create heightened realism within her works. Magenta’s work is heavily influenced by the 17th-century Vanitas movement, symbolic still-life paintings that originated in 1600s Holland. Recently finished her BA(Hons) in Fine Art and Professional Practice at Blackpool School of Arts, Magenta is planning to continue her research and practice by studying for an MA in Fine Art the following year. Amid studying, she has been exhibiting and selling Fine Artworks and prints both nationally and internationally through online platforms and existing client base.
