Alexandra O’Toole

Alex O’Toole is an independent, Writer, Creative Director and Producer.

For twenty years, Alex has worked nationally and internationally across Europe, the US and the Middle East to develop creative concepts, produce artistic programmes, write narratives and manage design projects for the creative and cultural industries.

As a creative director and writer, Alex creates powerful creative concepts and beautiful, compelling content for live, print and digital platforms and audiences. She also writes on commission for creative projects across all mediums, and about creativity, the role of the arts and the business of being an artist.

Her work as a strategist for the creative and cultural industries is geared towards developing partnerships and growing audiences to elevate their approach, bring clarity to their vision and maximising opportunities for long term sustainability.

As a producer, Alex is on a mission to encourage more non-arts organisations to choose a creative approach to unlocking the potential of their offer through the arts. She works as independent producer for a range of arts and creative organisations, whilst her larger scale participative projects are created through Fable Arts, a socially engaged arts organisation.

As a facilitator, Alex is committed to empowering artists and creatives to feel more in control of their careers and businesses. Good Creator™ is Alex’s forthcoming online professional development platform for professional creative practitioners all disciplines.
