The Squibbles

Jay Stansfield is the creator of The Squibbles, an award-winning children’s brand that includes colouring journals, storybooks, characters, animation, music, and games. His illustrations have been showcased around the world, from Times Square to Miami, and his book *Squibbles* was named one of IndyBest’s Top 10 Colouring Books for Creative Kids. Currently Jay is working with his team on a full animated series centred around cosy learning.

Jay runs Squibbles workshops for kids, inspiring imagination, storytelling, and creativity, while helping them gain the confidence to draw and embrace mistakes. His work has given children in both mainstream and SEN schools new ways to express themselves and their emotions and feedback is always super positive and affirming.

He has also teamed up with charities like Homestart and Bookmark Reading to spark creativity and encourage a love of reading in reluctant children. Through his work with Bookmark, Jay has created two full graphic novel magazines, with over 70,000 copies shared with primary schools across the UK.
