Lisa Howard at Indigo Studio

Lisa Howard is a printmaker, illustrator, photographer and freelance arts educator.

Working primarily with botanical subjects and found objects, Lisa creates one-of-a-kind artworks that harness natural and seasonal creative processes.

Through Indigo Studio Lisa hosts a range of craft, printmaking and drawing workshops at select venues across the north of England. Come and explore the magical process of cyanotype sun printing, learn how to trace shadows in ink, create stunning lino prints, join a forest sketching tour or create handmade crafts in our ever evolving programme. You can join a scheduled workshop at a local venue or discuss a bespoke session on a day of your choosing. Please contact for further information.

The ethos of Indigo Studio remains the same wherever you encounter us. We celebrate nature and champion the preservation of natural habitats. Taking inspiration from the surrounding fells and woodlands in the stunning Forest of Bowland we mark the passing seasons through sustainable creative practices.

Additionally, Lisa Howard is a freelance Cultural Producer and Arts Strategy Consultant designing and delivering large-scale creative projects and events for a range of commercial and public sector clients and providing research, development and evaluation services as an Associate member of Counterculture LLP.
